Congratulations to the middle school volleyball team for defeating Neal. This brings the team to 4 – 2. Also, the 7th grade “Star” volleyball team also defeated Neal. The Star team consists of Zoe Hausmann, Veronica Harper, Savanna Kanu, Anaia Brewster, & Simone Riggins. They were assisted by Makayla Ellis and Vya Bethea.
Congratulations to the middle school volleyball team for their victory over Carrington Middle School. Bethany Lane led the team with hustle and consistent serving. Also contributing with good serving were Phylisha Gillespie and Jaida Henderson. Diamond Bates hyped up the gym with an awesome back row kill. The Lady Bulldogs play Neal tomorrow at home in the Carr gym. Come check them out!
Varsity Volleyball lost to South Granville last night in 3 games the scores were 10-25, 22-25, and 19-25. Melanie Watson had 22 assists, Madeline Streilein had 8 kills, Stephanie Lobaugh had 10 kills and 6 digs.
The DSA cross country team ran a brutal race last night at Northwood High School. The boys pulled off a 2nd place finish overall with season best runs by Luke Beyer, Ian Leslie, and Breno Proper. The lady bulldogs were led by Hana Ratcliffe winning the girls race in a season best time of 19:54. Other girls running season bests were Alicia Criswell, Genevieve Rella, Mia Kaplan, Alison Andrews, and Natalie Jones.

Varsity Soccer beat Granville Central last night. Goals were scored by Sam Bordley, Lucas Villanueva, Steven Disla, Fermin Uriz and Diego Cruz. Assists were added by Lucas Villaneuva, Diego Cruz, and Keenan Conder.
The Bulldogs play home again vs Cedar Ridge, following the JV match , on Wed 9/28. Come on out and support us!
Thank you to the Lady Bulldogs HS Tennis Team for their work at the Duke football concession stand this past Saturday! Once the rain cleared out it was smooth sailing to a Duke victory over Tulane. While the rain kept some fans away, the ladies earned about $250 for their team.

Singles winners were Kellie LeVine, Alice Goldstein Plesser, Shannon Terwilliger, Melissa Carrico, and Dara Baldwin. Doubles winners were Shannon Terwilliger and Melissa Carrico, Camille Oliverio and Emma Westlund, and Jesurela Valle and Myrah Horne.

All matches will start at 4:30 and generally last around two hours.
For AWAY matches, we will meet at the DSA tennis courts right after school (quickly) and then all get on the bus to ride to the match together. This is DSA school policy. All girls MUST ride the bus to the match. However, the bus will not stay at the match. You must pick your daughter up at the location of the match.
